Polaarmütsid sulavad

Otsisin allpool postitatud laulu kohta pisut infot, üsna ebaedukalt, aga leidsin hoopis ühest foorumist igivana laulutuvastamiseteema, kus loo tuvastamiseks läks aega umbestäpselt kaheksa aastat ja kus muuhulgas leidis aset selline vestlus:

The song starts out: The icecaps are melting, the tide is rushing in…… and that’s all i remember of it. It used to be played over Radio KPFK (Pacifica station in El Ay, back in the swingin’ 60s.

Probably pretty old. They started melting about 10,000 years ago.

Yes but it’s possible to write new songs about old geological events.

But with no old records of eyewitness accounts, they’re all lies

Nii on.

Nagu selgus on ice caps eesti keeles polaarmütsid. Ja nad sulavad. Endiselt.

Tiny Tim räägib edasi.
